DISCOVER FINCA BELLAVISTA

Finca Bellavista was once a very popular tourist destination attracting up to 5000 guests from around the world annually. Founded in 2006, the project offered investors parcels of lush jungle property to purchase and build their dream homes either for residential or rental investment purposes.

The company grew at a rapid rate selling more than half of the available 96 parcels. Spread out over 140 acres, these buildable lots include a variety of hiking trails, treehouses, and natural features like waterfalls and two white water rivers.

In early 2020, the property management company ceased operations, closing down basecamp and other communal areas.

The Fusion Home has extended the use of it's website to all Finca Bellavista owners in an effort to help them maintain and rent their properties. As nearly all owners live overseas, you will find lots of homes and parcels of land priced to sell. These homes are perfect for those looking to escape the rat race and wanting to live a life less ordinary.

Francis - Discover Finca Bellavista

The lovely and multi-talented Francis offers a cleaning service for the rental homes. Francis has been involved with Finca Bellavista since 2007 and has played a part in nearly every role within the community over the years.

A member of the community will meet you at a mutually agreed time and escort you on foot to your rental home. After checking the home with you they will leave you to enjoy your jungle glamping adventure!

When the property management company shut, some of the former Finca Bellavista staff got together to start their own business and provide services they had previously been doing.

With decades of experience, no one knows Finca Bellavista better than they do!

Together, the team maintains the grounds and homes for owners, residents and guests. They also provide services such as 'meet and greet', local taxi rides, 3rd party excursions, Finca Fresh bags, grocery/meal delivery and special requests.

Contact information will be provided with your reservation should you require the use of their services

BECOME A FINCA BELLAVISTA RESIDENT

One thing we have always promoted since first arriving at Finca Bellavista back in 2012 was the lifestyle. Falling in love with Finca Bellavista is the easy part, finding the balance and comforts to match can sometimes prove challenging but ultimately rewarding. With many different houses and parcels to choose from, we encourage you to rent one of the rental homes prior to making any purchase in order to fully immerse with and experience this unique way of life.

The Fusion Home is not a property management company and we recommend that if considering investing, you do so for residential purposes first and foremost. Although we can assist owners with renting and selling their homes, we take no responsibility for their properties or guests. It is our hope that by sharing our website and years of experience at Finca Bellavista we can assist owners (old and new) with useful information whether renting, selling, building or living in this one of a kind off-grid community. Please note that all visitors to Finca Bellavista must sign a liability waiver before entering in order to explore the trails, rivers and properties.

ATTENTION ALL EWOKS!

The Finca Bellavista community is not a resort or hotel, the rental homes are privately owned and can only be accessed on foot. The hiking times depend on your physical fitness level and the amount of gear you are carrying. Pack lightly and bring comfortable hiking boots. There are no onsite services or amenities - the experience can best be described as glamping.

Visitors must be comfortable staying in the jungle on their own. Due to the access and remote location, we do not recommend staying at Finca Bellavista if you have serious health concerns or do not consider yourself in good physical condition (or if you don't like hiking / aren't willing to embrace the hiking as part of the adventure!)

Please keep in mind that a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach the private car park and guests will need to hike to the rental with their gear (estimated hiking times provided on listings).

Finca Bellavista is located within the Southern Zone (on the Pacific Coast side of Costa Rica) in the Piedras Blancas area of the Osa region. The community is 3 kilometers east of the InterAmericana highway (4×4 required), between the cities of Palmar Norte and Rio Claro. Exact directions are sent upon reservation.

You are coming to one of the most bio diverse regions in the world, the jungle must be respected. We do not recommend coming here if you do not like bugs, being isolated in the jungle, being with wildlife in its natural habitat or not physically up for the challenge of hiking and adventure.

Other guests and residents may be on the property, please be respectful to your neighbors - wildlife or human.
